The schism in our family is so difficult to me.  I try so hard to practice unconditional love.  I love you and no behavior changes that love.  I suffer when you suffer.  I am sad when you are sad.  I will never choose one of you over another or take sides.  I trust you to have learned the lesson of unconditional love, if not from me, then from our loving God.  It comes with forgiving oneself and each other every time (not just 70 times 7 times).  Figure out how to be honest with each other, love one another and treasure each other’s children. They are each wonderful people to be treasured, raised, corrected, and loved. Take it slowly, find a way.  For the times that my emotions or surprise or reaction has caused you to feel anything but love, Please forgive me.  I do love each of you.  Peace be with you.
